Give a Hoot! Favors

Supplies:
Stamp Set: It's a Wrap Occasions
Ink Pad: Real Red
Card stock: Soft Suede, Whisper White, Black
Accessories: Owl Builder punch, 1 3/4 Circle punch, 1 3/4 Scallop punch, Heart to Heart punch
Cellophane Bags
Stampin dimensionals
SNAIL Adhesive
Crystal Effects
Address Labels (1" x 2 5/8")
Chocolate ‘Nugget’ Bars

Candy Bar Wrapper:
Using Real Red ink pad, stamp the apple with the A+ onto each one of the labels. Wrap one label around each nugget. Place 2 nuggets in each cellophane bag. Fold bag over about one inch and close with a single staple.

Bag Toppers (3" x 4")
The bag toppers are folded in half for a finished size of 3" x 2". Using my printer, I printed on half of each topper "I (space) SCHOOL". The space needs to be 3/4" to accommodate the the elongated heart from the Heart to Heart punch. At the very bottom and in a much smaller print I put “from grandson’s name”. The heart is punched from Real Red cardstock is attached using a dimensional. This is the back of the bag topper.

Using the SNAIL adhesive, run a line of tape across the bottom of the front and the back side of the topper. Lay the stapled end of the bag on the topper, folding over to secure and hide staple.

For the front of the topper, cut a piece of scrap paper (any color) 1 3/4 inches by 2 3/4 inches. Center and tape down onto front side of topper.

With the Owl Builder, punch out the following: yellow heart, white large circles (2), black medium circles (2), soft suede brown body, designer print shirt. Also, punch out one scallop circle with soft suede cardstock. For the book, cut a rectangle out of any color cardstock, measuring 1/2" x 1".

To create the owls wings, insert the scallop circle into the 1 3/4" circle punch. Adjust so that there will be 3 full scallops and just a half of scallop on the ends. This will create a nice oval with points on each end for the owl wings. Starting with the point end, roll each wing tightly around a thin pencil. Attach wings to back of shirt making sure the scallops are down and placing them at about a 45 degree angle. Attach shirt to owl body. Turn yellow heart upside down, and glue down for the owl's beak. Attach the white, then black sections of the eyes. With a white gel pen, place a small reflection down on the black portion of each eye. Glue owl to colored cardstock side of bag topper. Finish by gluing book down to chest/shirt using crystal effects. When dry, make sure wings are curled tightly down next to book.
